Can three venture capital firms negotiate a deal for joint funding of a novel kind of alternative jet fuel?
The Russian oil company Seven Continents Petroleum has just developed a novel kind of alternative fuel for jet aircraft. The company believes that it will optimize the value added if they work with a consortium of three venture capital firms. In this negotiation simulation, students are assigned to represent one of three VC firms and are tasked to work within certain ground rules in order to reach an agreement with the other two firms on the terms of the deal.
