Kulmeet Singh, serial healthcare entrepreneur, co-founded Twistle with Harjinder Sandhu, with the idea of transforming the healthcare experience for both patients and physicians as they saw grave inefficiencies and poor support on both sides. Ultimately, the partners created a scalable engagement platform for the automation of communications among care teams and patients as well as a configurable dashboard for education and information sharing. As the company grew, earning its place as a unique comprehensive patient-focused platform, its growth attracted new forms of capital, which Twistle began to consider to further bolster its large-scale strategy.
